Animal physiotherapy in Berlin - practice and mobile
I'm sure you know that feeling. You always hope that nothing happens and you think: My animal will not get something like that, neither a herniated disc nor a torn cruciate ligament. You are not alone in this, we all hope so, always.
And then it does happen - sometimes at lightning speed, sometimes quietly and insidiously. An accident, an illness, old age. What should I do now and how can I best support my animal? Further down on this page you will find possible forms of illness where physiotherapeutic treatment can make a decisive contribution to giving your pet as much mobility and quality of life as possible.
On this page you will also find explanations of preventive measures - i.e. prevention -, possibilities for weight reduction and wellness treatments. These offers are also about doing something good for your pet, keeping it healthy for as long as possible and dealing optimally with aging processes.
These include herniated disks, cauda equina compression syndrome, paralysis, myelopathy, plexus and nerve lesions, polyradiculonuritis, spinal cord infarction, wobbler and vestibular syndrome, and rehabilitation measures before and after surgery.
These include, for example, arthrosis, dysplasia of the elbow, shoulder and hip joints, joint and vertebral blockages, diseases of muscles and tendons, bone fractures, cruciate ligament rupture, patella luxation, rheumatism, spondylosis and spinal diseases as well as rehabilitation measures before and after operations.
In the case of degenerative, neurological and orthopaedic diseases requiring surgical treatment as well as in the case of accidents involving surgery, pre- and post-operative care can make an important contribution to and shorten the healing process.
The optimal weight of your pet contributes to a long, healthy and above all active life. Whether your animal is normal or overweight or obese, you can find out relatively easily: Does your animal have a curved waist, can you feel his ribs easily? Great! Or is the stomach rather roundish or thick, the waist difficult to see and the ribs hardly or not at all to feel? In these cases, gentle physiotherapeutic measures - in addition to a change of diet - can contribute to your animal's long-term return to its individual feel-good weight. Fat burning, muscle building and endurance training through targeted exercise are the means of choice here.
These include the reduction of existing muscle tension and stress reduction.
